Over due

SO sorry it's been a while! We've been seriously under the pump getting flowers out! We are in the thick of the wedding season making around 180 flowers a week! I'll share with you a few picture of what we've been up to.

As you could imagine all of those beautiful blooms have kept us super busy!

More tea?

Another two matching tea party bunches, this one with more blue than pink but equally sweet! I LOVE these bunches and a chance to match them into my tea stuffs for photos!

A little Party never hurt nobody

I must admit I've been swept up and the love of the spectacle that is Baz Luhrmans Great Gatsby. He's been on of my favourite directors not only because of the style he shoots him film in (under cranking and over cranking scenes *swoon*) but the general feel of his movies, their grandness, music and colours.

So when I got the chance to do a Gatsby inspired bouquet I jumped up and down with Glee! The customer asked for black, gold and white with a Gatsby art deco feel and that's just what I deviled!

Each bloom has a mix of strong bold art deco prints and vintage buttons just high light this. So happy with it I'd love to do more!

Burton bias

I can't even put in words how happy I was to get this custom order, I mean anyone who knew me as a teenage would know I was/am a MASSIVE Tim Burton fan! So I set about collecting papers and buttons that would have the right vibe with out going too far over board, also with the request was adding our vintage music papers.

The mixes of bold black and white prints and red and white stripe really make this bunch a stand out piece. Together with the leather and sparkly buttons, I think we really hit the mark. If you look very carefully you can even find Jack him self!

Pastel candy

Last minute custom for a tea party this weekend! I made the blooms with the roses months ago and put them to the side because we got so busy with pop up shops and weddings. It was great to get the chance for them to shine. I think these bouquets go so well with my teacups and NEW Christina Re teapot (thanks a million dear friend of mine).

These two are off to support lots of tea parties with the wonderful Candy's cake stands and high teas I hope they are enjoyed by many with much love!

Best friends

This custom was for a birthday gift for an old friend, with nothing much but the love of flowers and birds to guide us this bunch has a mixture of green, orange, pink and creams. Perfectly mixed to the decore of her home (I love our customers showing me pictures of where the flowers will be displayed) It really helps to get a feel for each persons vibe.

Something bright and spring like to take us though this cold winter.

Yellow and blue

We have been busy bees finishing off our wedding order, it is now shipping and in the hands of the bride. I cannot wait to share it with you all once she has walked down the isle. With that mammoth task now finished we have moved back to our order board. This yellow and blue order is a gift from daughter to mother, they aren't in the same state so it's always good to hear of a good mum to spoil.

I hope she enjoy the mix of her two favourite colours, I was happy to be able to use the pastel lace papers I purchased a while back too. Next up on the board is another gift, this one is from a sister for her sister going through a round of chemo.
